1.Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website Vórticeweb3.com and all content published on it. By browsing the website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these rules.

If you disagree with any point, the advice is straightforward: don't use the site. Access is open and free, and no one is obligated to do anything.

2.What the Vórtice Is—and What It Isn't

Vórtice is a Brazilian portal for educational content and curation on decentralized finance (DeFi), cryptoassets, wallets, networks, security, on-chain games, and NFTs. We publish fact sheets, guides, comparisons, directories, market indicators, and news, and we maintain a community on Discord.

It's important to be explicit about what the Vórtice is no is:

• It is not a brokerage firm, exchange, securities distributor, or financial intermediary of any kind.
• It is not a payment institution and does not process, hold, or transfer money, cryptoassets, or any other form of value.
• It is not a consulting, management, or securities analysis service, and it is not registered as such with the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).
• It is not a wallet: the website does not connect to a wallet, does not sign transactions, and does not interact with smart contracts.
• It does not provide legal, accounting, or tax advisory services.

What you find here is organized information. What you do with it happens outside of here, on your own, and in your own name.

3.Nothing here constitutes an investment recommendation

Indicators such as those from the Cycle Compass describe where the market was and where it is now compared to past cycles. They do not predict the future and should not be interpreted as a signal to buy or sell. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

4.The Risks of DeFi and Cryptoassets

Trading in DeFi and cryptoassets involves high risk, including the total loss of the amount invested. Among the most common risks:

• Volatility — Prices may change suddenly and without notice.
• Smart Contract Failure — Even audited protocols have been subject to exploitation and loss of funds.
• Temporary loss by providing liquidity to pools.
• Clearance Sale of collateralized positions during sharp declines.
• User error — wrong address, wrong network, improper contract approval. On-chain transactions are irreversible.
• Scams — cloned websites, fake apps, phishing, wallet drainers, and Pix chargebacks in P2P transactions.
• Regulatory risk — The rules governing cryptoassets are changing and may affect the services you use.

Vórtice devotes an entire section to safety precisely because it considers this to be the most important issue in the industry. Even so, no inspection eliminates the risk: it merely reduces the avoidable risk.

Curation is independent and follows its own criteria: relevance, operational track record, security, transparency, cost, and ease of use. We prioritize solutions non-custodial and decentralized — where you keep the keys.

Nothing is added to or removed from the catalog due to commercial pressure. Risk ratings and pros and cons reflect the writer’s technical opinion, are valid as of the date indicated on the fact sheet, and may change as the situation evolves.

We make mistakes from time to time: outdated information, a review that hasn't aged well, a broken link. If you find something wrong, please write to contact@Vórticeweb3.com — Corrections are welcome and will be made quickly.

7.Advertising, Affiliates, and Sponsorship

The website can be supported by advertisement, affiliate links and sponsored content. Three commitments always hold true:

• Sponsored content is clearly identified on the page itself, without masquerading as an editorial piece.
• Sponsorship doesn't buy a favorable review, a ranking, or inclusion in the catalog.
• An affiliate link may generate a commission for Vórtice, but It doesn't change what you pay nor the terms you're offered.

Ads displayed by third-party networks are the responsibility of the advertisers. We have no editorial control over them, and the display of an ad does not imply that Vórtice endorses the advertised product. If you see an ad that is clearly misleading or fraudulent, please let us know—we will block the advertiser.

8.Market data from third parties

Some of the content on the website comes from external sources: TVL and protocol data from DefiLlama, prices and market metrics from public providers, Bitcoin cycle indicators from specialized databases, and news from media outlets via RSS.

This data is reproduced as they are. They may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect at the source, and the source may go offline. Whenever possible, the website indicates the time of the last update and the source.

When data is missing, Vórtice displays a dash in place of the number. This is intentional: we prefer to acknowledge the absence of data rather than display a made-up number.

9.News and Third-Party Copyrights

The aggregated news stories are published with title, short abstract, source credit, and link to the original text. We do not reproduce articles in their entirety, and all rights remain with their respective owners.

If you hold the rights to any of the content mentioned and believe it has been misused, please write to contact@Vórticeweb3.com by identifying the material and its ownership. Content that is flagged is reviewed and, if necessary, promptly removed.

10.Vórtice's Intellectual Property

The name Vórtice, the visual identity, the original texts, the entries, the analyses, the catalog’s organization, and the website’s code are protected by Law No. 9,610/1998.

You can quote excerpts and share the content, as long as you cite the source as Vórtice and include a link to the original page.

You cannot copy the website or entire sections of it, republish the content as if it were your own, remove credits, or use the brand in a way that suggests a partnership, endorsement, or affiliation that does not exist.

11.What You Can and Cannot Do

Access is open to the public, free of charge, and does not require registration. However, by using the website, you agree not to:

• Using the portal for illegal activities, fraud, money laundering, or any practice prohibited by law.
• Attempting to hack into, overload, test for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the operation of the website and its infrastructure.
• Conducting automated collection on a scale that disrupts service for other people.

12.Discord Community

The official community is hosted on Discord and serves as a space for learning and discussion. In addition to these Terms, the rules posted on the server itself and the Discord Terms of Service.

It is prohibited to post about scams, referral schemes, promises of returns, requests for private keys or transfers, spam, or personal attacks. Moderators may remove messages and ban users who violate these rules without prior notice.

A member's post reflects the opinion of the author. This is not content from Vórtice and does not involve curation—even when it comes from someone in a government position, unless there is an official statement.

13.Registration, Accounts, and Newsletter

Vórtice does not have a user area, login, or profile. The only information you can provide us through the website is the newsletter email, used solely to send the periodic summary and which can be canceled at any time via the link in the footer of each email or by sending us an email.

14.Availability and Changes to the Portal

We work to keep the website up and running and up to date, but it is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue sections, features, and content at any time, including for maintenance, due to a vendor failure, or a change in the project's direction.

To the fullest extent permitted by Brazilian law, Vórtice and its contributors are not liable for:

• Financial losses resulting from decisions you made based on the published content.
• Failure, exploitation, fraud, unavailability, or shutdown of third-party protocols, wallets, networks, platforms, and services mentioned here.
• Errors, delays, or unavailability of data provided by external sources.
• Content, practices, or policies of third-party websites accessed via links on the portal.
• A scam carried out by a third party operating through the Vórtice outside of official channels.
• Temporary unavailability of the website or data loss due to a technical failure.

Nothing in this section waives the rights that the Consumer Protection Code guarantees you and that cannot be waived.

The website exists to point the way, and for that reason, it is full of external links. A link means that we consider the destination relevant to those studying the subject — no It does not guarantee the safety, reliability, or continuity of that service.

Always check the domain before connecting your wallet or sending funds: Cloned websites are the most common scam in the industry.

19.Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Brazilian law applies, in particular Law No. 10,406/2002 (Civil Code), Law No. 8,078/1990 (Consumer Protection Code), Law No. 12,965/2014 (Civil Framework for the Internet), Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD), and Law No. 9,610/1998 (Copyright Law).

The user’s place of residence is hereby designated as the venue for resolving disputes arising from these Terms, in accordance with Article 101, I, of the Consumer Protection Code.
